Damask Rose Petals
Soft floral aroma, gentle on the palate. Brews into a pale amber cup.
We blend loose leaf herbs, petals and roots in small batches, then pack them into curated sets you'll want to keep on the kitchen counter, not in a drawer.
Loose leaf staples, gift-ready boxes, and the small accessories that turn a cup into a ritual.
Hand-mixed in Bratislava, packaged the same week in resealable pouches and glass jars.

Soft floral aroma, gentle on the palate. Brews into a pale amber cup.

A trio of botanicals — mallow, rosemary and rose — for a rounded herbal cup.

Larger pantry jar with our most-loved damask roses, ready to gift or keep.

A floral-citrus blend designed for slow mornings and warm afternoons.

Tart, deep-red brew with rosehip and forest berries. Lovely iced.

Mild, slightly sweet. Often used as a base for our spring tisanes.

Elderberry, peppermint, mullein and eucalyptus in a resealable pouch.

Our house herbal blend — chamomile, lemon balm, peppermint and elderberry.
It's the drawer where my grandmother kept her tea — labelled paper bags, a worn wooden scoop, a few cinnamon sticks tucked in for the smell. We named the shop after it because we wanted to make tea that earns a place there again.
Every blend is mixed by hand in our small Bratislava workshop. We source from European herb growers we've visited in person, and we try to keep things uncomplicated: real ingredients, named on the label, in a portion that fits a pantry shelf.

Sampler tubes, pantry trios, and tea bombs in presentation boxes — built for housewarmings, hostess gifts and quiet birthdays.

Seven corked vials of our most-asked-for blends, in a kraft presentation box.

One-cup tea bombs filled with whole-leaf and dried fruit. Drop, pour, watch.

Sugar-shell bombs with botanicals suspended inside. A small theatre in a cup.

Cotton sachets with rose petals and Himalayan salt — for the deeper kind of soak.
You shouldn't need a botany degree to read a tea label. Every Paplonka blend lists every ingredient by its real name, in the order they sit in the pouch.
If we use rose, we mean petals from a single farm in Bulgaria — not "natural flavour." If a blend is caffeinated, we say so on the front. If it isn't suitable during pregnancy, we say that too.

Loose leaf takes a minute longer than a teabag. We think it's worth it. Here's how we do it on the kitchen counter.
One heaped teaspoon per cup. A wooden spoon is forgiving — the volume matters more than the gram.
Just off the boil for herbals (95°C). For green or rose blends, let the kettle rest a minute.
Five to seven minutes for a full-bodied cup. We don't bother timing it — a podcast track works.
Strain, sit somewhere quieter than the kitchen, and don't rush the first sip. That's the point.
We name every farm and country on the back of every pouch.
Blends are made in small lots so nothing sits in storage for long.
Glass jars, kraft boxes and resealable foil-free pouches.
